Senior Property Engineer – Wildfire Expert Allianz Commercial specializes in property insurance for middle‑market and large companies, providing comprehensive coverage for complex and challenging risks through a global network. This is a remote position requiring approximately 30% travel for client meetings, field surveys, and collaboration with underwriting colleagues. Responsibilities Support large corporate clients with field engineering survey assessments and account‑level reviews, evaluating exposures and controls. Conduct on‑site surveys, obtain data, identify hazards, and generate risk engineering reports and recommendations. Develop custom loss control programs, scoping and costing of risk consulting services. Produce account engineering work products and manage data entry in accordance with GSOP. Balance field survey and desk‑review workloads, maintaining communication with clients, underwriters, and third‑party providers. Assist with ongoing projects, cross‑functional initiatives, and provide training and presentations as needed. Qualifications Minimum 7 years’ loss prevention engineering experience in a HPR insurance environment. Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Strong knowledge of wildfire risks and various business sector hazards. Experience managing large global corporate accounts and performing field and desktop assessments. Familiarity with NFPA, FM Global guidelines and emerging technologies. Proficiency with MS365, AI tools, data analytics and NATCAT modeling principles. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and ability to travel across the US and Canada. Self‑motivated, proactive change agent with strong teamwork skills. Annualized base pay range: $113,495 to $176,673, with additional performance‑based incentives.
