Marketing Director - Life Sciences Industry


The Marketing Director will be a senior leader within the organization, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our business objectives. This role requires a strategic planner and an excellent storyteller who can generate innovative ideas and work closely with Business Development and Client Directors to promote our products and services effectively.



Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive insights
  • Create and manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources
  • Collaborate with BD and Client Directors to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer support, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts
  • Craft compelling narratives and messaging that resonate with target audiences
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and marketing collateral
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels
  • Generate innovative marketing ideas and strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Identify and leverage new marketing channels and technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, clients, and partners
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the life sciences sector


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the life sciences industry
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling content and narratives
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives
  • Experience working closely with BD and client-facing teams
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM software, and digital marketing platforms
  • Must be bilingual
