Our client, is a leading plastics manufacturer, is actively looking to hire a Quality Manager on a permanent basis. The Quality Manager is expected to verify practices for efficiency and accuracy in order to implement processes that are safe and improve quality. In this role you will expect to direct, coach, train, monitor and control Quality Technician to ensure that they consistently achieve their targets, and follow and sustain company rules and guidelines. RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the Quality audit process and completion of corrective actions. Develop inspection procedures for incoming and finished goods. Manage and monitor QC processes and procedures and ensure procedures are aligned with production requirements. Apply corrective action to identified non-conformances by initiate, analyze, carry-out, sustain, and monitor corrective changes to ensure effectiveness. Coordination of internal and external audits with Controlling Ensuring that all assembly processes operate within lean manufacturing principles. Continuously communicate with other operations to attain "best practices sharing" for ensuring improved process, engineering and working procedure. Process validation testing to ensure product Quality exceeds requirements. Internal Audit - Perform internal / plant audits reviews and provide recommendations for program enhancements to ensure continuous improvements. Notify management, supervisors and individual employees of any non-compliance and generate Non-Compliance Required (NCR) to correct the non-compliance and prevent re-occurrence. Establish necessary measurement and monitoring processes to ensure customer quality requirements are met. Track and perform trend analysis on Customer complaints and production incidents. Manage the Quality Training Plan for the Plant Maintain and ensure ISO9001 requirements are in compliance. Manage nonconformance control procedures and practices. Plan and manage daily quality control inspections on the plant floor of outgoing products. EDUCATION / SKILLS & ABILITIES Bachelor's degree, preferably in Quality or related field Internal Auditing Certification 2+ years related Quality experience in a lead role. Working knowledge within an ISO certified manufacturing facility is essential. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Able to develop, review, and maintain metrics and quality audits. Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
