Your New Job

Looking for a qualified SAP Business Analyst with proven experience in SAP Material Management (Inventory Management, procurement) solutions and SAP IS-U (Device Management). You are required to work full-time at the Firm’s Surrey site in the first 3 months and or on-site or remotely 50% onsite, 50% offsite for the rest of the term.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Our client is using SAP ECC for managing procurement, inventory management, finance, HR, maintenance and more.

Our client is using SAP ECC & IS-U for billing and Device Management process. We require an experienced business analyst to provide inputs and support on best practices, technology direction and options, and implementation strategy.

The SAP MM business analyst will conduct the following, working closely with multiple individuals/groups in IS and the business – Logistics PMO, IS PMO, Procurement Operations, Major Project teams, Measurement Services, Asset Management, etc.

1. Review current and future state IS processes.

2. Provide fit gap analysis.

3. Define the future state of the enhancement, including project prioritization,

4. Develop business case for implementation,

5. Facilitate training to end users,

6. Configuration and testing,

7. Documentation,

8. Provide best practices and recommendation.

9. Review Business, Functional and Technical Requirements.

10. Provide roadmap / implementation recommendations; 11. Other deliverables as outlined by the IS Applications Support Manager

The goals and objectives of this role includes:

• Implement Critical Material Tracking solution by utilizing SAP and RFgen functionalities.

• Perform fit gap analysis.

• Define business needs for IS solution.

• Define the future state of the enhancement, including project prioritization,

• Develop business case for implementation,

• Facilitate training to end users.

• Configuration and testing,

• Documentation,

Business units within the firm that are stakeholders of this project:

• Procurement.

• PMO & Logistics

• Operations.

• Measurement Services.

• Asset Management.

• Major Projects

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Expertise with broad knowledge in configuring and supporting SAP Materials Management module, preferably in Utility Industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in implementing and supporting SAP MM module, especially Inventory Management and Procurement.
  • Utilities industry experience and a background in IS-U Device Management would be desirable.
  • Experience supporting SAP PM module will be desirable.
  • Understanding of Advanced Shipping Notifications, Good Receiving, Issuing, Transferring, Picking, cycle count, etc.
  • Experience in handling bar code reader application integration with SAP, such as RFgen will be beneficial.
  • Experience interpreting the business requirements, building the solution in ECC, testing, training, implementation.
  • Good communication and facilitation skills.
  • Effective organizational skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate priorities and deliver high-quality and timely results under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to speak effectively in formal and informal meetings and presentations across all levels of the organization.
