Primary Duties:

Grade 3 Subjects: literacy, numeracy, science, social, religion, physical education, art, and health.

• Possess a strong background in literacy and numeracy

• Knowledge and experience with differentiated instruction and

planning for diverse student needs (ie: strategies in regulation and

accommodations)

• Be self-directed, independent and highly motivated as an individual

• Form part of a collaborative teaching team that fulfills modern

teaching and assessment practices

• Have strong classroom management, interpersonal and

communication skills that promote

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor of Education required

Temporary or permanent teaching authority (new graduates please refer to Teacher certification in Alberta)

Competent in the use of technology (Power School, Interactive Boards, Google and Microsoft Suite)
