Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer for an exciting opportunity with one of our Fortune 500 clients, based in Toronto, ON. Role: Frontend Developer-(React, Next) Job Summary We are looking for a talented React.js & Next.js Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-performance, SEO-friendly, and scalable web applications using modern frontend technologies. You will collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences. Key Responsibilities Develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces using React.js and Next.js. Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes in Next.js. Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and SEO. Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services. Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs into high-quality code. Manage state using tools like Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar libraries. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with unit tests using Jest or React Testing Library. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams for sprint planning, daily standups, and issue tracking. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance or functional issues. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of experience in frontend development. Strong expertise in React.js (hooks, lifecycle, state management, routing). Hands‑on experience with Next.js — SSR, SSG, ISR, and API routes. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design principles. Experience with version control systems such as Git/GitHub. Strong understanding of performance optimization, SEO best practices, and accessibility.
