Assistant Store Manager Join Canna Cabana to apply for the Assistant Store Manager role. Our retail Assistant Store Manager is vital to delivering a distinctive shopping experience. The ASM works collaboratively with the SM and company management to manage, maintain and supervise day-to-day retail operations at the store location. Responsibilities Assist store management in supervising and facilitating daily store operations. Oversee the Store Manager’s responsibilities in their absence. Support personnel management tasks such as interviews, promotions, performance reviews and disciplinary actions when requested. Provide direction, guidance and instruction to store associates as required. Maintain store conditions consistently up to established standards. Create weekly staffing schedules and ensure staffing levels meet business needs when requested. Liaise constantly with store departments to convey information and communicate expectations. Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff. Ensure company policies and relevant legislation are consistently adhered to and upheld. Handle customer complaints as they arise, escalating to the appropriate individual as needed. Adhere to all health, safety and security regulations and meet required standards. Oversee and assist in inventory management. Qualifications Completion of high school and College/CEGEP/vocational or technical training required. Demonstrated service orientation required. Valid CannaSell certification required. Clean criminal background check copy prior to start date required. Minimum 3-5 years work experience in the retail industry required. Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a retail environment required. Excellent time management, prioritizing and training skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity suite. Strong customer service, troubleshooting, diplomacy and teamwork skills. Ability to work any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday, including nights, holidays and weekends at different locations.
