It’s an exciting time to be part of the Give & Go team as we are growing rapidly and want you to become a part of our growth and extraordinarily bright future Job Overview Responsible for the execution validation studies for new and existing products. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for creating purchase orders and other administrative functions for PD. Key Responsibilities Analyze and supervise the shelf life studies of new and existing products. Coordinate shelf life studies. Record and analyze shelf life studies. Recommend action plan for shelf life studies. Test raw material substitutes for existing products. Evaluate raw material specifications. Conduct lab trials comparing the alternative ingredients with the control. Conduct validation tests. Perform sensory evaluation using the sensory evaluation techniques. Perform chemical and physical tests. Create purchase orders for items in the lab and new materials required for plant trials. The Recipe for Success Completion of college diploma in Food Science or a related field. Minimum 4 years experience as a Chef, Baker, or Pastry Chef. Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, GFSI (BRC, SQF) and Food Allergens. Strong problem solving and decision-making skills. Comprehensive understanding of commercial bakery ingredients, production processes and equipment capability. Have good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate and follow up. Ability to lead, work independently, and in a team environment.
