This position is part of the Association of the Academic Staff of the University of Alberta (AASUA). Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work at North Campus Edmonton. Remuneration for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and based on the income scale of the six-step Academic Medicine and Health Services Program (AMHSP). The successful candidate will be offered a contingent tenured or tenure-track appointment with the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, which is in accordance with the University of Alberta Faculty Agreement and offers a comprehensive benefits package. The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, in partnership with Alberta Health Services (AHS), invites applications for an academic position within the Division of Pediatric Neurology (with a focus on neuromuscular disorders) in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta. This position is a part of the Alberta Academic Medicine and Health Services Program (AMHSP). This position is a 1.0 full-time equivalent and includes negotiated and committed protected time for research and other academic pursuits. The position will be a 60% clinical commitment to Stollery Children’s Hospital and the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital. Expertise in Electromyography and nerve Conduction Studies (EMG/NCS) is required. The proposed position will be comprised of (but is negotiable): Clinical service: 60% Administration: 5% Research: 20% Clinical Teaching: 15% The successful candidate will contribute to education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the Royal College-accredited subspecialty training program in Pediatric Neurology. #J-18808-Ljbffr
