In this hands-on, newly created role, the Manager, Talent Acquisition, designs and implements the recruitment strategy to enhance attraction and talent segmentation in alignment with business needs of approximately 20 locations. As a leader, this role manages a team of TAS, with a key mandate for operative and strategic recruitment and employer branding activities to attract potential candidates and create a robust talent pipeline, while ensuring all recruitment activities align with the organization’s values and mission. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Build effective understanding and relationships with the stakeholders for them to proactively address today's and future recruitment challenges driving talent pipelines, talent organizational mapping and identification. Build, motivate and engage a team of high performing in-house TAS/Recruiters who continue to use innovative methods and strategies to source new talent. Provide highest level of expertise on recruiting, putting the candidate experience at the heart of the process with appropriate follow-up and feedback to emphasize Employer Brand and maintain integrity in the candidate process. Lead the recruitment and selection process to deliver qualified candidates in a timely fashion, whilst maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at large. Develop and continually evaluate end-to-end recruitment processes, tools and technology, identifying and implementing solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and overall candidate experience. Take a proactive, data-driven approach to source and attract top rated candidates through various channels, to build an impressive pipeline of candidates. Employ innovative strategies to attract candidates, including measuring metrics aligned with our clients' KPIs and growth plan initiatives. Strategically deploy a diverse range of recruitment methods, leveraging online job boards, social media platforms, and industry networking events to attract top-tier talent. Engage and inspire employees around brand vision so they are clear in bringing them to life in their areas of functional expertise. Who You Are You are a passionate and proactive individual with a University Degree, with a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive end-to-end Talent Acquisition and Human Resources experience, including 5 years in a leadership capacity. Experience working within a best-in-class Employer Brand and Talent Acquisition Unit with in-house recruitment experience, in Manufacturing, health, supply chain/transportation or construction Industries. You have a good understanding of the HR processes and how Talent Acquisition aligns, integrates, and supports the full employee talent life cycle. Recruitment program design and development experience, in multi-business Unit environment. Experience working in a Centre of Excellence partnership model, lead people and meet deliverables & commitments. You have experience with process improvement, recruiting and employer branding metrics and analytics. You are digitally savvy: proficient in all Microsoft office products. You have experience utilizing Applicant Tracking System, sourcing strategy and channels (career websites, job aggregators, social media, etc.) and new Technologies (AI, chatbot, etc). You have a Brand Ambassador mindset, strong decisive leadership, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence the best outcomes.
