Field Service Technical Representative, Industrial Laundry

Join Ecolab's industry leading Textile Care team as a Commercial Laundry Field Service Technical Representative. You will make a positive impact on our commercial laundry customers as you provide expert consultation and solutions that improve linen quality, boost operating efficiencies and enhance sustainability. As a Territory Manager, you will serve as the face of Ecolab for your customers, ranging from independent laundry operations to corporate accounts, including commercial uniform, retail, restaurant, healthcare, and hospitality/tourism industries. What's in it For You: Enjoy a paid training program allowing you to learn from successful professionals Receive a company vehicle for business and personal use Carve out a long term, advanced career path in sales/service, corporate accounts, or management Flexible, independent work environment where you will plan your own schedule Access to best in class resources, tools, and technology Grow your income as you drive sales What You Will Do: Leverage your technical aptitude as you troubleshoot laundry machines and dispensing systems Provide extensive hands-on product and solution training Partner with plant managers and other key personnel to understand their operations and laundry challenges Cultivate long-term relationships that will lead to increased sales Develop strategic work plans for completing sales and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative laundry products and chemicals, processes & programs to increase your customers operating efficiencies Position Details: Position will support Montreal and surrounding area including travel to Quebec, Ottawa and surrounding areas 4 - 6 nights overnight travel/month will be required Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of relevant work experience in textile care or related industrial environment or 2 years technical support experience Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs Bilingual, French/English, due to the following reasons: The posted role will be supporting customers who are anglophone and in provinces outside of Quebec, and the role is required to travel to the US to attend technical training at our corporate headquarters. Willingness and ability to provide emergency customer support (nights/weekends), as needed Valid driver's license & acceptable motor vehicle record Able to travel to the US for training/meetings No immigration sponsorship available for this role Preferred Qualifications: Vocational/Technical Post-Secondary Diploma or Bachelor's Degree 1 year of applied mechanical problem solving experience (i.e., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical trouble shooting experience) Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence customers and build trust Previous chemical sales experience, commercial laundry industry/operations, or plant management experience About Ecolab Textile Care: Our customers trust us to help clean 33 billion pounds of linens annually.
