Job Description CIMA+’s Infrastructure team combines top‑notch skills with an intimate understanding of the local community to deliver customized infrastructure services for municipalities and real‑estate developers. We have delivered hundreds of projects across Canada, including innovative solutions for the full spectrum of water and wastewater assets, on time and on budget. We support clients from start to finish, whether for building brand new infrastructure or assessing, repairing, and expanding on existing assets. We are looking for a Project Engineer with more than five years of experience in municipal water and wastewater projects to join our fast‑growing multi‑disciplinary infrastructure team and support projects in Ontario. You will work closely with our lead engineers to contribute to project delivery and the ongoing growth of our business in Ontario, focusing on planning, design and construction projects for water and wastewater. You will participate in a hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and 2 days per week in one of our London, Kitchener, Mississauga or Ottawa, ON offices. Primary responsibilities Process engineer design, hydraulic calculations, data analysis and interpretation, technology and equipment evaluation, process optimization studies Lead preparation of technical memoranda and reports Coordinate and collaborate with in‑house multi‑discipline teams to gather technical information to support project delivery and proposal preparation Support or lead proposal preparation and budgets, including coordination with our proposals, marketing and multi‑disciplinary teams Liaise with municipal clients to promote client relationships, business development and organic growth Liaise with government agencies and a variety of stakeholders to facilitate permitting and approvals during project planning and implementation phases Collaborate with junior engineers in project delivery and serve as a guide and mentor to augment your growth and leadership skills and enhance overall team performance Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering from an accredited post‑secondary institute Registered or eligible for registration as P.Eng. in Ontario Minimum five years of experience in the engineering design of water and/or wastewater treatment projects Demonstrated experience in water and wastewater treatment project planning and design, including knowledge of unit‑process design and hydraulics Experience with Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Studies, Master Plans, and feasibility studies is mandatory Proficient MS Office user (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint) Why choose CIMA+ Exciting linear infrastructure projects to grow your professional career Comprehensive group benefits available from day one for all permanent employees working at least 20 hours per week Employee and Family Assistance Program Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with 4% employer contribution As an employee‑owned company, an annual opportunity to purchase shares for all employees Flexible work schedule in a hybrid work mode Work/Life balance policy across Canada 3–5 weeks of vacation, based on years of relevant experience Tailored training to improve your existing skills For more information contact Georgeta Suta.
