Title: Procurement Category Analyst Reports To: Director, Recurring Contracts and Supplier Management Position Summary: Responsible for a wide variety of duties including, but not limited to RFx document development, analysis and support, quote requests, contract drafting and amendment drafting, contract scheduling, purchase order creation/modification, vendor invoice inquiries, budget support, and general procurement related administrative duties for Property Management Service categories. Responsibilities Category Management Manage assigned real‑estate property service contracts, including negotiating extensions, new contracts and drafting contracts, amendments, and terminations. Work collaboratively with business owners (Operations groups, Technical Services, and Operations support groups). Conduct market research and create cost estimates and forecasts for assigned categories. Assist business leads with procuring services following CAPREIT’s procurement policies and processes. Financial Support Create scheduling purchase orders in SAP (or other ERP system) that align to contracted cost schedules. Modify purchase orders as required. Coordinate purchase order requests and creation with multiple departments. Investigate and resolve purchase order discrepancies (incorrect item, price, etc.). Assist in preparation of budget templates and support accrual inquiries. Address vendor payment inquiries and service/goods related issues. Other projects assigned by Sr. Procurement Manager or Director. RFx Documentation Support the preparation of RFx documentation (e.g., pricing sheets, reference data). Analyze RFx bid submissions and assist with preparing summary reports. Contract Management Maintain the contract repository. Accurately input key data for contracts in the repository. Create contract repository reports. Building Acquisition & Dispositions Support acquisition and disposition of building assets, including budget development. Communicate with suppliers regarding quoting and site visits. Summarize quotes and draft contracts/amendments or terminations for dispositions. Compliance Monitor and manage risk and compliance with procurement policies and processes. Assist in Auditing Assist management/auditors during the auditing period. Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by Sr. Manager Procurement or Director of Procurement. Qualifications 3 years related procurement experience Experience with RFx processes Proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP in Excel Experience with complex data manipulation in Excel Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Effective communication skills Good time management and organizational skills Team player with ability to multitask #J-18808-Ljbffr
