The role contributes to the Fraud Prevention, Education and Industry Engagement Team, supporting the Fraud Threat Management Team to ensure goals, plans and initiatives are executed in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensure all activities are compliant with governing regulations, audit protocols, internal policies, and procedures. As the Learning Experience Designer, you will develop learning content based on established learning frameworks. Responsibilities Understand and deliver a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Execute change requests for updated and new training content (including, but not limited to version accuracy, request requirements, document review for formatting and language standards). Develop or advise the overall framework, design and strategy of courses, ensuring alignment with learning needs and service level agreements. Perform all ADDIE Model tasks from start to finish when developing content. Assist with the creation of facilitation decks. Champion usability and accessibility of learning material by utilizing digital creation knowledge to develop accessible digital learning content. Maintain learning programs to ensure up-to-date content, user-friendly usability, and provide end-user support and resolution of low risk inquiries and concerns. Collaborate with the Learning Delivery team to execute courses and maintain existing learning programs. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Contribute to effective and efficient operations in line with Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles; ensure day-to-day business controls meet obligations related to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment. Education / Experience / Other Information Post-secondary education in Business, Digital Communications, or Adult Learning is an asset. Previous experience as an Instructional Designer or Learning Experience Designer. Advanced knowledge of Articulate Storyline, and/or other eLearning software. Advanced knowledge of Camtasia and/or Snagit as video editing software. Advanced knowledge of developing for Accessibility according to AODA standard. Previous experience in Learning Management Systems. Previous experience in designing and developing digital learning content preferred. Working Conditions Work in a standard office-based environment. The incumbent must work under tight deadlines, conflicting priorities and changing project requirements. Must be able to react quickly to resolve problems and work overtime on many occasions to meet project deadlines. Location(s): Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
