Key responsibilities include the installation of a variety of signage, both interior and exterior, ensuring proper placement and secure mounting. Additionally, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in lighting systems, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring optimal functionality for our clients. Strong attention to detail, safe work practices, and a customer-focused approach are essential.Job Summary:The Sign and Lighting Services Installation Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of illuminated signs and lighting systems. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure their requirements are met and installations are carried out safely and efficiently.Main Responsibilities:1. Sign Installation:- Install various types of illuminated signs, including LED, neon, and other lighting systems.- Read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams for accurate installation.2. Maintenance and Repair:- Perform regular checks and preventive maintenance on signs and lighting systems.- Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in existing installations.3. Safety and Compliance:- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and local regulations.- Use personal protective equipment and follow safety protocols.4. Customer Service:- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical advice.- Deliver high-quality service and address customer questions or concerns.5. Documentation:- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and maintenance.- Prepare reports on the condition of installations and recommend improvements if necessary.Required Qualifications:- Experience in electricity, electronics, or a related field.- Previous experience in the installation and maintenance of illuminated signs is an asset.- Knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.- Ability to work at heights and use lifting equipment.- Excellent communication and customer service skills.- Valid driver's license.Desired Skills:- Attention to detail and ability to solve technical problems.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Flexibility to work outside regular hours if necessary.- Drivers license class 3 would be an asset
