Service Technician/installer

We are looking to hire a new repair and installation technician to join our team. The position involves repairing a variety of small equipment such as shopping cart pushers, motorized shopping carts and vacuums as well as installing different types of theft prevention systems for retailers. We will provide training, a work vehicle and all the necessary tools to complete the job safely and efficiently.

This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working autonomously and prefers working on the road vs in an office.

**Requirements**:

- Drivers License
- No criminal record
- Bilingual
- Good computer/mobile phone skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Diagnose problematic equipment, repair accordingly and test functionality.
- Respectfully discuss with client and suppliers regarding the necessary work required or completed.
- Fill out all necessary work orders and diagnostic sheets.
- Clearly relay information for billing purposes.
- Ability to schedule workdays in accordance with the work volume.
- Follow maintenance schedule for work vehicle.
- Maintain and organize parts inventory in work vehicle.
- Use power tools safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain all tools in good standing order.
- Work well autonomously and in a team.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Required Experience:

- We will provide on the job training, however, some knowledge in repairs, power tool operation, electronics or alarm system installation would be beneficial.

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
