Proposal Coordinator, Toronto, ON Our marketing team in Toronto is looking for a Proposal Coordinator that will be responsible for driving RFP submissions for the Building Science business unit, including but not limited to, Restoration, Envelope, Rehabilitation, and Special Projects. Proposal coordination may also include joint submissions with the Structural business unit. Job Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely proposals submissions within our Toronto office and across our Canadian offices (Ottawa, Calgary, Vancouver) Prepare and update project sheets and credential packages Monitor procurement websites for relevant RFP opportunities and distribute to teams Develop proposal calendars and bid schedules Schedule strategy meetings as required and post proposal debrief meetings Write, format and edit proposals based with a focus on quality and design Print, package and deliver final proposal/bid submissions or submit electronically, as required. Manage SharePoint or other document management systems Responsible for regular document control within our ERP system Qualifications / Requirements Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or another related field Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role Experience in AEC (Engineering, Architectural, Construction) or equivalent industry an asset Demonstrated practical knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Working knowledge of Adobe Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Graphic design skills considered an asset Ability to deliver high quality, accurate work with excellent attention to detail Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment Location: North York, Toronto (in-office position) Equal Opportunity Employment Statement Salas O’Brien provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state / provincial, or local laws.
