Sustainability Consultant

Job Description About the role This role provides subject matter expertise on Sustainability to internal and external stakeholders. You will advise customers and prospects of their regulatory obligations and best practice and support the implementation of software solutions and managed services. You will work as part of a small team of advisors, reporting to the Regulatory and Development Director. Job Requirements What you’ll do Research and communicate current and emerging product and supply chain sustainability regulations and standards Identify and recommend market opportunities for software solutions to support compliance Work closely with Product owners to develop software solution requirements Advise internal teams on regulations and standards in respect of product sustainability Undertake sustainability course reviews for Source Academy Prepare and deliver educational webinars and other marketing materials Engage with stakeholders, including NGOs and industry partners, to identify collaborations and inform development of our software solutions This role is offered as a remote position in the US or Canada or hybrid position at our Arnhem office in the Netherlands. Some travel may occasionally be required for attendance at conferences or team activities Other job duties as assigned by your manager What we’re looking for 3+ years of experience in product sustainability including responsible sourcing Software industry experience Expert knowledge of ISO and sustainability standards Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex concepts Ability to produce high quality reports and presentations A pro-active person, able to work autonomously in a rapidly changing environment A drive for continuous improvement Technical proficiency, including the use of AI for research and development Job Benefits Salary Range: $98 - 112 CAD About The Company As product compliance and ESG regulations continue to expand worldwide, and consumers increasingly demand sustainable, eco-friendly products, companies struggle to collect, validate, and report supply chain data to meet due diligence and compliance obligations – particularly when sourcing materials and commodities from around the world.
