Systems Testing/QA Analyst

We are seeking a highly experienced Testing / QA Specialist to provide senior-level guidance and leadership in planning, designing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies for large-scale enterprise systems. This role involves both automation and manual testing across multiple environments and requires strong collaboration with technical and business teams throughout the SDLC. Responsibilities Provide senior-level guidance on testing strategy, test planning, tool selection, and resource identification. Lead and coordinate testing efforts for large-scale enterprise systems in GUI and non-GUI environments. Plan, design, and execute system integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing, including stress and volume tests. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and test suites aligned with project standards. Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts ensuring effective execution across multiple system components. Collaborate with QA leads, technical leads, business analysts, developers, and project teams throughout the SDLC. Analyse requirements, design documents, and technical specifications to ensure test coverage and traceability. Execute API, database, and integration testing to validate end-to-end business processes. Identify, log, track, and validate defects; support defect triage and resolution activities. Support and participate in UAT activities, including test data preparation, execution support, and issue resolution. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA resources. Must-Have Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of QA experience on large-scale enterprise systems. Strong experience in automation testing using Selenium (or similar UI automation tools). Proficient in REST API testing using tools such as Postman and SOAP UI. Strong SQL experience for test data preparation and result validation. Experience designing and maintaining automated test scripts. Strong manual testing, defect management, and integration testing experience. General Skills Expertise in planning, organising, and leading testing efforts for complex enterprise applications. In-depth knowledge of structured methodologies for application development and maintenance. Proficient in automated testing tools and frameworks across web, API, and backend systems. Strong experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing. Skilled in executing functional, non-functional, regression, integration, performance, and system testing. Strong understanding of QA principles, best practices, and structured testing methodologies. Proficient in creating test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, and data for multiple testing phases. Solid understanding of all phases of the SDLC. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively. Hands‑on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts. Proficiency with REST API testing using Postman and SOAP UI. Strong understanding of relational database concepts with hands‑on SQL experience. Experience testing integration technologies and data flows across multiple systems. Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language used for test automation. Experience with object‑oriented testing approaches. Experience testing Commercial Off‑the‑Shelf applications. Familiarity with information management principles, concepts, policies, and practices. Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments. Experience planning testing efforts for both large and small system implementations. Experience supporting data‑intensive or transaction‑based systems. Evaluation Criteria Required Skills (75%) Senior‑level advice on testing strategy, planning, and tool selection.
