Overview We’re hiring a former practicing lawyer to partner with Sales to diagnose and solve the most significant technological shift in the legal industry, leading the AI‑driven transformation journey and delivering high‑impact demonstrations. What you’ll work on Act as a Strategic Advisor: Partner with Account Executives to lead discovery sessions with small and mid‑size law firms, uncovering their overarching business goals and operational bottlenecks. Show, Don’t Just Tell: Design and deliver tailored, live product demonstrations of the Clio platform that resonate with the day‑in‑the‑life of a legal professional, navigating objections and building trust. Navigate the AI Frontier: Articulate Clio’s AI vision, helping firms safely adopt automation for drafting, research, document analysis, and administrative efficiency. Architect Solutions: Convert complex technical requirements into tangible business value, demonstrating how Clio and our ecosystem of 250+ integrations solve specific practice‑area needs. Collaborate Cross‑functionally: Translate field insights into actionable user stories for Product and Engineering, and advise Sales, Marketing, and Enablement on messaging. Scale the Expertise: Mentor the broader sales organization, up‑skill peers on legal workflows and positioning AI‑driven solutions. Drive Industry Change: Speak with authority on the business and ethics of legal tech, acting as a thought leader in the evolving digital practice‑management landscape. What you bring A Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree, with fluent understanding of law‑firm language. 2+ years of legal practice experience, with a first‑hand grasp of firm economics, document lifecycles, and client communication. A passion for legal tech, having been an early adopter of new tools and workflow optimizations. Exceptional communication skills with high EQ, able to command senior legal stakeholders and distill complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive narratives. Problem‑solving DNA: naturally curious and adept at deconstructing messy processes to build efficient, tech‑driven solutions. Familiarity with the legal stack, including LPM, document automation, and legal research platforms. Serious bonus points if you have Previous experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales, or Legal Technology implementation. Active involvement in legal innovation communities or bar‑association technology committees. A strong “AI Point of View,” following the latest developments in LLMs and legal‑drafting and ethics applications. Compensation Salary range: $108,800 to $147,000 CAD. New‑hire commission range: $35,900 to $48,500 CAD. Unlimited potential beyond stated amounts. Benefits: Competitive salary with top‑tier health, dental, and vision insurance.
