SPM has assembled a young, talented team of mechanical and electrical designers, project managers, machine builders, millwrights and electricians to work in a collaborative manner. As we lead the way in new technology development, prototyping, plastics joining, finishing and assembly applications we look to expand our team with like minded, driven individuals looking for a challenge. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Powermill Programmer Minimum 3 to 5 years experience with programming and operating 3 Axis and 5 Axis machines Working knowledge with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls Knowledge of FPT / FCS work holding Experience with Hermle 5 Axis machines and Erowa robotic pallet systems is considered an asset Capable of recognizing and solving problems Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) Duties And Responsibilities Perform your work duties in a professional and safe manner. Program and operate multiple CNC machines Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job Select appropriate machines and position / load material for a job Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine, etc. Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages Other Attributes Ability to work overtime as required Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers, suppliers, and customers as required Written and verbal communication skills Planning, and organizational skills Ability to perform under pressure and work independently Work Setting New Facility with state-of-the-art machines We Offer Competitive wage and benefits package Steady Day Shift 6 : 30AM - 3 : 00PM Safety Shoes Allowance A rewarding career opportunity #J-18808-Ljbffr
