Position Summary The Senior Manager, HR Integration & Transformation, will play a pivotal role in executing HR strategies during the merging and integration of newly acquired insurance agencies into the larger organizational structure and into strategic regional branches. This position focuses on aligning HR practices with the company’s growth objectives, creating a consistent and effective agency/employee experience, and optimizing HR processes to ensure smooth integration. This leadership role will be charged with creating repeatable “playbooks” and execution plans for onboarding and merging existing entities into Highstreet structures and standards, which will include the migration of their HRIS/payroll systems, job titles, PTO and benefit plans, core policies and procedures, etc. The Senior HR Manager will ensure the level of customer service during these HR transitions is clear, thoughtful, and as pleasant as possible, by establishing user-friendly reference materials, communication channels, escalation paths and appropriate pacing and training. The Integration team will elegantly guide the agencies through these change management steps, and serve as full HR support, until conducting an organized hand-off to Regional HR teams to provide ongoing support. Day-to-day, this role will collaborate extensively with the cross-functional Transformation & Solutions Team, who coordinates integration activities across multiple Highstreet efforts (Data, Technology, Finance, Legal, and HR) and will work alongside multiple strategic service providers, and HR Operations. Key Areas of Responsibility HR Integration for Acquisitions: Lead HR integration efforts during the acquisition of agencies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Develop and implement HR strategies that facilitate the smooth integration of acquired agencies into regional branches. Assess existing HR practices within acquired agencies, identify migration plans, and standardize transition processes in line with company HR goals. Change Management: Design and implement change management initiatives to support the integration of newly acquired agencies, ensuring effective communication, training, and stakeholder engagement. Promote cultural alignment across newly integrated branches, fostering a unified and cohesive environment. Provide a dynamic and comforting experience. Process Standardization and Improvement: Lead efforts to standardize HR transition processes across regional branches, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with corporate policies. Identify and implement best practices from HR Operations to enhance service delivery and support the company’s regional operating model. Regional and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with regional leadership, Finance, IT, and Legal teams to ensure the successful integration of HR functions within new branches. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on HR integration matters. Project Management: Oversee multiple HR integration projects related to the merging of agencies, ensuring timely delivery, a ONE HIGHSTREET EXPERIENCE (ONEHXP), and alignment with business objectives. Utilize project management methodologies to monitor progress, manage risks, and report on project status to senior leadership. Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals focused on integration and transformation, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous improvement and alignment with regional strategies. Desired Competencies Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on integration, transformation, and change management, preferably within the insurance industry. Experience in leading HR integration efforts during the acquisition of small companies or agencies. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. In-depth knowledge of HR processes, systems, and best practices, particularly in a regional or multi-branch context. Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on results.
