Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring high quality and presentation standards
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure smooth service
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a server in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines is an asset
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Smart Serve certification is required
