Supervisor, Ground Operations Veho Compensation $70,000 - $78,000 annually. The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company. Anticipated Schedule Veho’s operating hours vary based on the needs of the operation. Warehouses typically have first, second, and third shifts, and schedules are subject to change at the discretion of the company and to changes in business needs. Warehouse leadership is expected to be onsite during their scheduled shift and may work off‑site occasionally if allowed by the manager. Specific expectations will be discussed with your manager. Role Summary As a Ground Operations Supervisor, you will be a hands‑on leader working day‑to‑day with our Warehouse Associates and Leads. You will develop the warehouse staff, coach them on the necessary skills, and guide them toward future success. You will set a standard of operational excellence and ensure your team’s success through values‑based leadership. Additionally, you will be responsible for the accuracy of reports, scheduling, cross‑functional communication, and ensuring sort and launch packages are processed efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Effectively schedule shifts that align with business needs based on operational hours and projected volume. Operate as a hands‑on leader with the ability to coach, train, and develop team members. Demonstrate a record of leading a team with values‑based leadership to achieve key KPIs and metrics for the operation. Show a high level of teamwork, partnering cross‑functionally to ensure a successful operation and organization as a whole. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in management in logistics, operations, or a related field is preferred. Proficient in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment. Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners. Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as required by operational needs. Physical ability to work in a warehouse that includes the following conditions: Standing for the duration of the shift. Moving boxes up and down, including frequent bending. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Working in hot or cold temperatures. Working in an environment with loud noise and fumes. Minimal travel required.
