GGA Partners is an international consulting firm and trusted advisor to many of the world’s most successful private clubs, resorts, residential communities, and investors in the golf and leisure industry. They are dedicated to helping owners, asset managers, and investors achieve objectives and maximize asset performance.
We are looking for an Associate with a strong background in accounting and/or financial services to join our Transaction Advisory team. The candidate should be dynamic and thrive in a fast-paced environment, be excited by challenges, and have a track record of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
As an Associate, your responsibilities will range from financial model development to hands-on client engagement across multiple industries. You'll be an integral part of our team, working directly with golf courses, leisure assets, private clubs, resorts, residential communities, and investors. Your role will include:
- Compilation and analysis of market, financial, and operational data required for reporting on key performance indicators and to support strategic decision-making.
- Development and maintenance of financial models for clients across diverse industry sectors.
- Delivery and management of multiple client projects, with an opportunity to impact strategic decision-making.
- Input and tabulation of data, monitoring industry statistics, and following industry trends.
- Development and presentation of compelling client deliverables in collaboration with team members.
- Strong client relationship management, while juggling multiple deliverables and deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree in business or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of professional services experience with a major accounting, financial services, or consulting firm.
- Experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or equity research is considered an asset.
- Interest in pursuing a professional accreditation such as a CPA or CFA is highly desirable.
- High capability in financial modeling and valuation.
- Passion for or experience in golf, private clubs, residential real estate, or resort businesses.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Intellectually curious and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines to gather and analyze large amounts of information.
- Positive attitude, exceptional work ethic, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, small team environment.
