*Position Summary: *

Reporting to the General Manager or designate, the Sales Representative will be responsible for creating and maintaining strong relationships with various clients.

*Key Responsibilities:*

· Selling to existing customer base, working with call sheets.
* Weekly collection of account balances from customers (distributing statements, credits, and ensuring all invoices are paid according to terms).
* Grow existing customer base using correct company protocol on new account sign ups.
* Attend regular sales meetings either virtually or in person and annual conference.
* Responsible for increasing sales and margin in existing customer base.
* Working on adding new product lines.
* Working with customers to setup weekly advertisements to continue to grow business.
* Selling protein specialties and Made at Centennial and Penguin items.
* Understanding market conditions, product innovations and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services.
* Additional duties as assigned.

*Qualifications and Skills:*
* 1 to 2 years progressive sales experience in a similar sized operation; a combination of post-secondary education and experience will also be considered.
* 1 to 3 years of related protein industry experience would be considered an asset.
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff.
* Ability to work comfortably on computers.
* Self-motivated and able to work in, and outside of an office setting.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability and willingness to travel.
* Must possess a valid driver’s license.
