What The Role Offers The OpenText OCP Platform, a next‑generation Information Management as a Service platform that enables multi‑tenant SaaS applications Bridging the gap between product development teams and Cloud Operations teams, focusing on accelerating time to market, reliability engineering, technology obsolescence management, and reducing software failures DevOps practices incorporating Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Testing, and Continuous Monitoring to improve reliability and time to fix incidents What You Need To Succeed Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving cloud‑first software infrastructure and solutions Experience in back‑end development Experience with a PaaS (Platform as a Service) capability that enables delivery of new service capabilities Embedding DevOps and Agile practices with CI/CD tools to automate testing and deployment Building maintainable, easy‑to‑understand code for cloud and web services Working in an Agile methodology Proactive problem solving and willingness to find solutions beyond your direct expertise Team collaboration and commitment to shared goals Mentoring junior team members on code design, testing, and standards Working with internal engineering and operational teams to understand and respond to platform & application needs Maintaining composure under pressure Co‑working with geographically dispersed teams What It Takes Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 5+ years relevant software development experience Strong expertise in Java, including Spring and Spring Boot Expertise in database programming and messaging protocols Front‑end development skills (React, JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3) are a plus Experience building scalable, high‑performance, accessible UIs with responsive design Experience developing and maintaining cloud‑based services on Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP Proficient in designing and integrating REST‑based APIs Strong communication skills and proactive ownership mindset Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Software Development One Last Thing OpenText is more than a corporation; it's a global community that values trust, raises the bar, and owns outcomes.
