You'll oversee Product Management and R&D teams, managing budgets and driving strategic alignment across all functions in a product-driven organization. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Define and execute product strategy aligned with business objectives Own the product roadmap from conception through delivery Manage budgets across Product Management and R&D functions Drive go-to-market planning and execution for new products and features Lead and develop 3 direct manager reports: 1 Product Manager and 2 R&D Managers Build high-performing teams through coaching, mentorship, and talent development Foster collaboration between Product, Marketing, and Engineering Establish clear goals, metrics, and accountability frameworks Execution & Delivery Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of roadmap commitments Balance innovation with operational excellence Drive continuous improvement in development processes and methodologies Make data‑driven decisions on feature prioritization and resource allocation Create and manage budgets Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on GTM strategies Communicate product vision and progress to executive leadership and stakeholders Gather and synthesize customer feedback into actionable product improvements Represent the company at industry events and with key customers Qualifications Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in R&D and Product Management 5+ years in leadership roles managing managers AI‑First mindset with experience integrating AI/ML into product strategy Proven track record of shipping successful products at scale Experience managing multi‑million dollar budgets Strong technical background with ability to engage deeply with engineering teams Demonstrated success in go‑to‑market planning and execution Preferred Qualifications Experience in the Creative Agency or Martech verticals Background in B2B product development Track record of building and scaling product organizations Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies MBA or relevant advanced degree What Success Looks Like Clear, achievable roadmap with strong stakeholder buy‑in Consistent on‑time delivery of high‑quality products High‑performing, engaged teams with low attrition Strong cross‑functional relationships and collaboration Competitive salary, bonus structure, commissions and options package Work remotely in Canada or the US (100% remote opportunity) A comprehensive health and benefits program Do you picture yourself at Function Software?
