CA1 Carbon Black Cleaner

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Carbon Black Cleaner to join their team. As a Carbon Black Cleaner, you will be part of the operations team supporting the efficient and safe handling of materials in the Carbon Black Dock area. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic, attention to safety, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title:  Carbon Black Cleaner Location:  New Glasgow, NS Pay Range: $18.80 Shift: 12-hour shifts, all days 6am - 6pm, crew rotation What's the Job? Perform cleaning duties in the Carbon Black Dock area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment Wear Michelin supplied clothing and utilize respiratory protection as required Operate powered industrial vehicles with provided training, supporting material movement Engage in physical tasks including lifting up to 10kg and pushing or pulling materials Adhere to all safety protocols including wearing safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety footwear at all times What's Needed? No prior experience required; training will be provided Ability to perform physical work including lifting and pushing materials Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear protective gear Criminal background check (local) Reliable and committed to maintaining a safe work environment What's in it for me?
