The Opportunity The Truck Sales Consultant is an outside sales position responsible for selling new Class 8 and Medium Duty trucks in an assigned territory. This may be your dream job if you: Enjoy selling best‑in‑class products and services in a business‑to‑business sales environment Perform in a performance‑driven outside sales role that offers uncapped commission potential Prefer meeting customers in person at their business locations rather than being tied to a desk Thrive on initiating and developing long‑term customer relationships Your Responsibilities Work to achieve sales targets and demonstrate a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction Develop sales opportunities by identifying, researching, and contacting prospective customers Gain an understanding of customer priorities and needs and demonstrate how our best‑in‑class truck makes and models can meet those requirements Manage and report on sales action plans on a regular basis Meet planning and productivity goals Understand and work within required sales processes, write complete sales orders, and process required paperwork in accordance with company policies Work closely with all departments to ensure the customers’ after‑sales experience is world’s best What We Look For Excellent sales skills, with demonstrated experience selling in a business‑to‑business environment Excellent interpersonal and customer‑relations skills Proven ability to develop and work a sales action plan and drive to achieve top sales results Ability to negotiate is essential Have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel in your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement included; expenses reimbursable) Must be able to climb into and out of commercial transport vehicles Salary & Commission Base salary plus commission with uncapped commission opportunity; first‑year on‑target earnings of $100,000 – $150,000 Benefits Package Extended medical (including vision) Dental Prescription benefits RRSP with employer matching program Long‑term and short‑term disability Life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insurance Paid time off Ongoing training opportunities Annual boot allowance Job Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Sales and Business Development Industry: Truck Transportation Are you ready to go ALL IN on a career at Inland?
