Apply today Job Details Full-time Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of Innomar Pharmacies across Canada, including collaborator pharmacies, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance and optimized processes. Manage contracts, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, develop training programs, and drive operational improvements across the pharmacy network. Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the delivery of pharmacy services while ensuring high standards of quality patient care and service delivery. Develop, monitor, and report on departmental budgets to maximize profitability, support operational efficiency and ensure resource optimization. Including accurate and timely billing for pharmacy services and drive continuous improvements throughout the network. Collaborate with the VP to develop and execute enterprise pharmacy strategies, aligning with organizational goals and driving strategic initiatives. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Patient Support Programs and business units, to integrate pharmacy operations, optimize workflows, and increase market share. Drive process optimization, implement new programs, support pharmaceutical product launches, and manage special projects to enhance operations. Lead the adoption of innovative technologies, including automation, workflow enhancements, and digital tools, to improve operational efficiency and service delivery. Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to enhance operational insights, track performance, and support data-driven decision‑making. Champion initiatives to enhance patient experience through pharmacy-led innovations in medication access, therapy onboarding, treatment adherence, and remote monitoring. Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with provincial and federal regulatory requirements, including Provincial College of Pharmacists regulations, National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) standards, and internal Cencora policies. Maintain accreditation through audits, compliance training, and quality assurance. Identify and mitigate risks within pharmacy operations, including the development of business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience and regulatory adherence. Lead and develop the Pharmacy Management Team and broader business unit, focusing on engagement, performance management, succession planning, and professional development. Experience with creating and growing manufacturer partner relationships to maximize strategic opportunities for specialty and generic drugs. Represent Innomar at Industry conferences, events and stakeholder meetings, while building strong relationships with healthcare providers, manufacturers, insurers, regulatory organizations, and government officials. Travel up to 30% within Canada to oversee operations, build relationships, and support the execution of strategic initiatives Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned. Experience And Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health sciences, pharmacy or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Current registration with a Provincial College of Pharmacists. Minimum 10 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong background in pharmacy operations and leadership roles. Proven expertise in pharmacy operations, including regulatory compliance, workflow optimization and operational management. Demonstrated leadership in change management and driving transformational initiatives. Experience in project management and operational management; Lean‑Sigma or continuous improvement methodology experience is an asset. Professional certification and experience in the pharmaceuticals/biotech industry are considered assets. Minimum Skills, Knowledge And Ability Requirements Extensive knowledge of pharmacy operations, including inventory management, billing, workflow optimization, and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing, coaching, and developing high‑performing teams. Proven ability to design and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives. Strong financial and business acumen, including budgeting, resource allocation, and ROI tracking. Advanced analytical skills to interpret data, track KPIs, and make data‑driven decisions. Comprehensive understanding of provincial and federal pharmacy regulations and accreditation standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Proficiency in leveraging innovative technologies and data analytics tools to improve operational efficiency. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and pharmacy systems (e.g., Kroll). Demonstrated ability to prioritize customer experience and deliver high‑quality patient care through service delivery improvements. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle competing priorities effectively. Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
