Our pharmacy is looking to fill the position of Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant. We are a busy, independent pharmacy partnered with a family practice and walk in clinic.

We are currently looking 1 individuals to join our team for a PART TIME or FULL TIME ROLE. Successful candidates could work up to 5 days per week, including alternating Saturdays.

We are looking for an experienced candidate who can immediately jump in. Kroll experience is very important.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

(1) Experience and/or training as a pharmacy assistant/technician. Candidates must have retail pharmacy experience, or be a candidate or graduate of a pharmacy education program.

(2) Good verbal and written communication

(3) Flexibility in hours

(4) Able to work within a team

(5) Experience with blister/compliance packages, inventory management, and third party insurance claims

Our team includes a certified diabetes educator, an OCP certified preceptor for students and interns, and pharmacists who have worked in a variety of clinical settings. Our pharmacy uses Kroll for dispensary software, and experience in Kroll is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and provide patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on medication usage.
  • Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of medications.
  • Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to medication administration and patient interactions.
  • Inventory management and maintenance of Front Store/Over the Counter products
  • Data entry, dispensing and point of sale operations
