Use stainless steel fabrication and basic measurement skills as an on-site General Labourer at Catalytic Exhaust Products in the Greater Toronto Area. Read blueprints and build catalytic cores.
In this full-time position, you will support raw material fabrication for catalytic emission control products and Exhaust Gas Purifiers. Your work includes cutting, rolling, welding, packaging, painting, labeling, and quality checks. CEP provides training in basic TIG welding and other evolving duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate raw stainless steel throughout catalytic core production
- Measure materials and cut them to correct sizes
- Use a slip roll machine to form cylinders
- Complete packaging and quality checks for shipping
- Communicate progress and issues with the Shop Manager
Requirements:
- Two or more years of general shop experience
- Basic fabrication skills and measurement knowledge
- Ability to understand technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds regularly
- Willingness to learn exhaust manufacturing processes
