Apply shop experience and fabrication skills as a full-time, on-site General Labourer with Catalytic Exhaust Products in the Greater Toronto Area. Work with stainless steel daily.
This General Labourer supports manufacturing, assembly, packaging, and shipping for catalytic emission control products. You will turn raw stainless steel into finished catalytic cores and Exhaust Gas Purifiers. The role includes technical drawings, basic welding, inventory, painting, labeling, and quality checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut stainless steel using a hydraulic shear
- Roll stainless steel into cylinders with a slip roll
- Assemble catalytic cores using basic welding techniques
- Read technical drawings and blueprints during fabrication
- Keep the shop safe, clean, and organized
Requirements:
- Two or more years of general shop experience
- Basic fabrication, math, and measurement skills
- Understanding of technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds regularly
- Reliability, punctuality, and independent work ability
Build catalytic cores at CEP while developing welding, finishing, and manufacturing skills through hands-on shop work.
