This Deli Associate position supports retail operations at Walmart Canada’s Leduc location. You will maintain the deli area, assist with merchandise sales, and prepare customer orders. The work includes meat, cheese, fried chicken, salads, and side dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Zone the deli department and maintain organized displays
- Rotate stock and check products for expiration dates
- Take orders and prepare deli merchandise for customers
- Use slicers, stackers, utensils, ovens, and deep fryers
- Keep the area clean and free of debris
Requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Provide exemplary customer service to deli customers
- Follow food handling and cold chain standards
- Record temperatures and complete thermometer calibrations
- Maintain merchandise signing, pricing, and product rotation
