As an Environmental Service Team Member, you will maintain cleanliness and recovery standards throughout the retail store. You will clean assigned areas, manage trash, move products for cleaning, and help customers locate merchandise. The position also includes supporting checkout, stocking, safety, and other store programs when assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dust and damp mop floors using approved procedures
- Deep clean bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high traffic areas
- Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures
- Maintain cleaning equipment and notify supervisors about supply needs
- Provide friendly customer service while supporting store standards
Requirements:
- Retail or cleaning experience preferred
- Remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store
- Regularly bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch
- Lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder
- Be at least sixteen years old
Support Michaels store presentation through cleaning, recovery, customer assistance, and safe handling of equipment and supplies.
