Maintain Michaels’ store cleanliness in Owen Sound while delivering friendly customer service and following approved cleaning procedures.
This part-time Environmental Service Team Member maintains the store’s overall look and feel through cleaning and recovery standards. Responsibilities include trash disposal, mopping, equipment movement, deep cleaning, and customer assistance. The role may also support checkout, stocking, and store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and dispose of trash using approved procedures
- Dust and damp mop floors throughout assigned areas
- Deep clean bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high traffic areas
- Maintain orderly cleaning equipment and request replenishment supplies
- Deliver friendly service while helping customers shop
Requirements:
- Retail or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch
- Ability to move throughout the store and access high shelves
- Availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings
Support Michaels customers and staff through dependable store cleaning, recovery standards, and respectful customer service in Owen Sound.
