The Product Manager plays a critical role in managing the commercial lifecycle of products within their assigned portfolio. This position is responsible for ensuring products are market‑aligned, competitively positioned, and financially successful. From defining go‑to‑market strategies to optimizing product performance, the Product Manager serves as a strategic interface between the business, engineering, marketing, and sales teams. This role requires a strong blend of market insight, business acumen, and executional excellence to drive innovation and support the growth of our public safety technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Own the product life cycle management of existing and future products and features within your portfolio of products Conduct market intelligence activities, including competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and market sizing, to guide product strategy and positioning Develop compelling business cases to support product investment decisions and lifecycle planning Define pricing and packaging strategies that align with customer needs, market dynamics, and profitability goals Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and channel teams to shape and support go‑to‑market strategies Lead capital expenditure submissions and analyze return on investment for product‑related initiatives Partner cross‑functionally with operations, systems, and support teams to ensure successful product launch and sustainment Work with marketing and sales enablement to ensure tools, collateral, and messaging effectively support product success Maintain a deep understanding of the N&IS product ecosystem and how assigned products integrate into the broader public safety portfolio Own and manage the product roadmap, balancing immediate priorities with long‑term strategic objectives Collaborate with engineering, design, and technical teams to define business requirements and ensure timely delivery of enhancements Serve as the internal champion and subject matter expert for assigned products, ensuring they deliver measurable customer and business value Monitor product performance and market feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation Work the marketing and sales to ensure pipelines align with business objectives Apply strong business judgment and decision‑making to drive results Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization Qualifications 3+ years of experience in product management, commercial strategy, or business/market analysis, preferably within public safety, telecom, or technology sectors Proven ability to manage products through the full lifecycle — from concept to commercialization and beyond Experience developing and presenting business cases to justify new product initiatives, including market analysis, cost‑benefit assessments, ROI projections, and risk evaluations to support data‑driven decision making required Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with product or project management tools is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority Strong business and financial acumen Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field required Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for education requirements Total Rewards Want to love where you work?
