Operator for Water Treatment at Brucejack

In this role at our high-grade underground mine in northern British Columbia, you will ensure water quality and regulatory compliance while contributing to a safe working environment. The position requires experience in water treatment and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency during operations. You will use your problem-solving skills daily while collaborating with a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems
• Conduct routine water sampling and testing
• Oversee pumps and chemical feeding systems
• Troubleshoot alarms and perform maintenance tasks
• Comply with all environmental regulations and site permits
Requirements:
• EOCP certification in Water Treatment and/or Wastewater Treatment preferred
• Previous experience with treatment facilities
• Extensive knowledge of pumps and instrumentation
• Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Capable of working in challenging weather
