What Wonderbrands Offers Wonderbrands believes in Home Grown Talent and accelerated career growth Competitive Compensation, Health, and Dental Benefits Pension plan with matching contribution Quarterly incentive program Discount program that covers almost everything under the sun - Restaurants, gyms, shopping, etc. Responsibilities As part of the Continuous Improvement Engineering team, work on multiple projects related to operations, including Manufacturing, Sanitation, Quality, and Maintenance Collect and analyze data following a structured methodology (DMAIC) to implement sustainable improvements in all aspects of Operations Working with a multidisciplinary team, the Continuous Improvement Engineer will support planning and execution of key continuous improvement projects under the guidance of the Continuous Improvement Engineer Team Leader Support commissioning activities of new equipment and manufacturing lines Create an environment which continues to foster continuous improvement and lean manufacturing Lead training sessions for multiple teams including Production, Sanitation, Quality, and Maintenance Support troubleshooting and driving completion of projects to enable them to be brought to fruition Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times Requirements Post-secondary education in Engineering with a GPA of 3.5+ out of 4.0 Bright, driven and clear about your future career goals Ability to learn fast, ambitious and come up with new innovative ideas Positive attitude and a results-oriented mindset Work well in and support a team-based environment Roll up your sleeves mentality with a whatever it takes mindset to get the job done Naturally curious and strong desire to learn and grow Possess excellent analytical skills Have demonstrated ability to interact with others and is adept at leading and motivating a team Flexible to work different work schedules when needed Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are required Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Must have a valid driver’s license Candidates applying must be a recent graduate What is the recipe for a great career at Wonderbrands Wonderbrands, is a leading Canadian bakery with 140 years of experience in baking packaged breads.
