Job Title: Cloud Migration Coordinator Level III - Senior Estimated Resource Quantity: 3 Department: Delivery Practices • Technology Solutions Reports to: Project Manager or Program Manager Job Summary The Cloud Migration Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the migration of applications, data, and infrastructure from on-premises environments to cloud platforms. This role ensures smooth execution of migration activities, minimal downtime, and compliance with security and governance standards. Acting as the central point of coordination, the Cloud Migration Coordinator works closely with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver successful cloud migration projects on time and within scope. Key Responsibilities • Project Coordination: Develop and maintain migration schedules, timelines, and resource plans. Coordinate tasks across technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders. • Migration Planning: Assist in assessing current infrastructure for cloud readiness. Support the development of migration strategies and wave planning. • Execution Support: Monitor migration activities and ensure adherence to project milestones. Track issues, escalate risks, and facilitate resolution. • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of migration processes, configurations, and decisions. Provide regular status updates to project leadership and stakeholders. • Compliance & Governance: Ensure migration activities align with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. • Post-Migration Support: Coordinate testing, validation, and troubleshooting after migration. Facilitate knowledge transfer and training sessions for internal teams. Required Skills & Qualifications • Education: • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience. • Experience: 5-10 years in IT project coordination or cloud migration projects. • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Understanding of migration tools (AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate, Azure DevOps, etc.). • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. • Certifications (Preferred): Azure Fundamentals, or similar. Core Competencies • Project management fundamentals (Agile and Waterfall). • Risk management and problem-solving. • Collaboration across cross-functional teams.
