The Role We’re hiring a Director Client Success to lead the strategy, performance, and growth of a portfolio of clients. This is a high‑impact role for a strategic leader who thrives on driving measurable results, building trusted partnerships, and elevating every aspect of the client experience. In other words, we need someone who doesn’t just manage clients; they move them forward. You are a digital‑first marketer and understand performance marketing inside and out, know how to balance strategic vision with day‑to‑day execution, and bring a sharp mindset to every conversation. You’re as comfortable talking about budget and ROI as you are discussing brand positioning and long‑term growth. You are also highly organized, with a natural ability to keep projects moving, details in check, and teams aligned. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, juggle multiple priorities with ease, and bring clarity to complexity. This is a role for someone who takes ownership, delivers outcomes, and leads with both confidence and empathy. You are the kind of partner clients rely on and teams love to collaborate with. The Responsibilities Deep Client Understanding: Know your clients’ businesses so well you could work there. You understand their industry, challenges, and opportunities deeply. Deep Digital Marketing Understanding: Know the digital landscape for DTC brands so well you could build one yourself. You understand their marketing needs, growth levers, and opportunities at a deep, strategic level. Deliverables Oversight: Take charge of client deliverables, communications, and meetings. Ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest standard. Budget Management: Manage invoicing, profitability, and task execution with precision. Keep your portfolio financially healthy and operationally sharp. Team Briefing: Keep internal teams aligned and accountable. Deliver clear, strategic briefs that drive action and results. Client Partnership & Growth: Own and expand strategic partnerships within your portfolio. Spot opportunities to grow services and deliver unmatched value. Thought Leadership: Bring fresh, strategic thinking to the table. Deliver insights that position clients to win in a competitive market. Capacity Management: Stay ahead of team capacity and resource needs. Make sure the right expertise is in play for every project. Performance Accountability: Own the results. Engage experts, drive execution, and ensure all strategic initiatives deliver performance. Client Relationship Management: Be the go‑to advisor and trusted partner. Build and maintain relationships that drive long‑term success. The Qualifications 7+ years of experience in account management, client services, or strategy roles. Experience at both agency and brand sides. Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills with a client‑first mentality. Can communicate clearly, succinctly, and directly. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once. Strategic thinker with a talent for identifying opportunities and solving challenges creatively. Proven ability to lead client strategy, drive growth, and deliver performance‑based results. Specific impact needed. Experience managing teams, resources, and capacity within a fast‑paced environment. Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, strategies, and performance metrics.
