Role Summary

Centrilogic is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead and facilitate Private and Public Cloud projects.


Reporting to the Director of the PMO, the Senior Project Manager will manage a range of projects including:


  • Setup of Public Cloud (Azure & AWS) environments
  • Physical to Virtual Data Migrations
  • Design, build, and deployment of Private/Public Cloud solutions
  • Data Centre Relocations and Migrations
  • Exchange to M365 migrations
  • M365 Domain Migrations


The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with demonstratable experience in Cloud Services project management. They will have a proven track record of success in driving complex issues to resolution autonomously and/ or collaboratively. Superior organizational and project management skills are essential with experience managing across highly cross-functional groups.


The successful candidate will be able to bring structure to loosely defined processes and develop requirements and processes when presented with ambiguity.It is essential that the candidate be a driven, self-starter with excellent organizational skills.


Location: North America/Remote

Role: 6-month Contract

Team: Project Management Office


Mandatory Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • 7+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Project Management (private and public cloud)


Important Skills & Qualifications

  • PMP certification or equivalent
  • Tertiary education in engineering or IT


Desirable Skills & Qualification

  • MBA
  • ITIL certification


Responsibilities

  • Oversee client project management from Initiation, Planning, Execution and Monitoring & Controlling phases.
  • Accountability for managing schedule critical path, milestones, budgets, Risks and issues to satisfy stakeholder requirements and expectations.
  • Develop and build good relationships both internally and with clients that contribute to making Centrilogic our clients trusted and preferred partner for Professional Services.
  • Facilitate delivery of solutions by leading and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams from various Client and Centrilogic departments.
  • Provide oversight and direction to implementation teams to ensure the deployment meet project objectives.
  • Lead multiple projects with limited supervision.
  • Anticipate and proactively mitigate project risks internally and with clients.
  • Strive to consistently improve customer satisfaction, delivery times and service levels while controlling costs.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
  • Work across multiple time-zones to deliver to Centrilogic’s global customer base.
  • Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT project management in an external client-facing project manager role.
  • In-depth knowledge of key project management concepts, practices and techniques (PMP certification preferred).
  • Practical knowledge of contemporary project management life cycle, methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, SDLC)
  • Advanced MS Project/PWA and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Experience managing a variety of IT projects but with a focus on Application.

  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to drive results while cultivating a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • A self-starter with the ability to stand-up the appropriate project methodology and governance for a given situation in the absence of a fully functioning PMO.
  • Leadership courage with a propensity to confront complicated issues with sensitivity and diplomacy.
  • Sound Business Acumen with the demonstrated ability to work with clients to identify and provide solutions to business challenges wholistically factoring in commercial implications.
  • Demonstrated focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Mental agility with the ability to ask probing questions to reach past the superficial symptoms to understand root causes and identify creative solutions to problems.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) supported by the ability to think critically.
  • Well-rounded project financial management skills with experience managing both Revenue forecasting and tracking along with cost and profit management for projects.
  • The versatility to handle concurrent medium to large size projects, potentially in the context of a Portfolio.
