**THE ROLE**

As the Chief Cloud Officer (CCO) at Temenos, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and drive the cloud strategy and operations for the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the company's cloud infrastructure and services are efficient, secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
Additionally, you will lead a team of cloud professionals and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver innovative and reliable cloud-based solutions.
This position will report into our Chief Operations Officer.

**OPPORTUNITES**

**Cloud Strategy and Leadership**:

- You will be working with Product leadership and SaaS strategy teams, this role will ensure SaaS client needs are fed into the requirements and contribute to overall cloud strategy.
- You will stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in cloud computing within the financial services sector.
- You will provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to senior management on cloud-related matters.
- You will be involved in customer engagement and keep abreast of industry regulation and changing laws.

**Cloud Infrastructure Management**:

- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud resource allocation and cost management.
- You will work with our CSO to implement security measures and best practices to protect sensitive financial data in the cloud.
- Cloud Solution Development:

- You will collaborate with product management and development teams to identify and prioritize cloud-based software solutions that meet customer needs.
- You will ensure adherence to software development best practices, including scalability, performance, and maintainability.

**Team Leadership and Collaboration**:

- You will lead and mentor a team of cloud professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, compliance, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
- You will establish and maintain relationships with cloud service providers, vendors, and partners.

**Risk Management and Compliance**:

- You will develop and enforce cloud-related policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- You will monitor and assess cloud-related risks and implement appropriate controls and mitigation strategies. You will work with the internal teams to conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.**SKILLS**
- You will have extensive experience in cloud computing, preferably in financial services or fintech industry.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven experience in developing and executing cloud strategies in a complex, enterprise environment.
- You will manage all the costs line in the SaaS P&L and be accountable for delivering the margins based on projected and agreed cost models.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, security, and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Relevant certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
