Your days will include:

• Developing strong external and internal business relationships
• Monitoring on-time delivery of product to customers
• Reporting on Key performance indicators
• Coordinating TL, LTL, and Multi-drop transportation for North American shipments
• Coordinating Rail and Ocean Steamship transportation for International shipments
• Working with the logistics team and other departments to optimize loads
• Maintaining and negotiating rates with carriers
• Evaluating, analyzing, and reporting on carriers and lanes
• Identifying and resolving claims and service issues
• Other duties as assigned

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• Energy, self-motivation, and a desire to learn
• Ability to accurately input data in a timely manner
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office as well as an ability to adapt to other software applications
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently as the need requires
• 3 years’ experience in the trucking industry is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment
