Surge Energy Inc. is a publicly traded oil-focused E&P company with a strong foundation built on high-quality crude oil reserves with an average daily production of 24,000 boe per day. We are a mid-sized company based out of our Calgary Head Office and look for individuals to join our team who share our passion for integrity, innovation, and the production of safe, reliable Canadian energy. We are currently accepting applications for various summer student positions at Surge Energy. To be eligible, students must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education and be returning to school in the Fall 2026 semester. Students must be available for full time work from May – August, daily hours may change dependent on location and role. The following departments are looking to add an engaged, eager, and hardworking student to the team: Environmental Science Intern (Calgary office based) Geology Intern (Calgary office based) Engineering Intern (Calgary office based) Finance and/or Accounting Intern (Calgary office based) General Field Labour (Opportunities in the following areas: Wainwright, Provost, Estevan, Red Earth Creek) To be considered, please submit a resume, unofficial transcripts and a cover letter which clearly states which role you are applying for, your work and volunteer experience, extra-curricular activities, area of study and why you want to work at Surge and be a part of the Energy industry.
