If you are passionate, driven, and ready to make a meaningful impact, join us About the Role The Quality Assurance Technician plays a key role in maintaining Good Protein’s quality standards. They ensure that products comply with food safety and regulatory requirements while contributing to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. The QA Technician works closely with external production teams, R&D, and logistics. Location On‑site at various production facilities in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Status Full‑time, permanent Key Responsibilities Quality Control & Compliance Conduct quality checks at various stages of production: raw materials, in-process, and finished products, based on production reports. Perform organoleptic and physical testing. Analyze, compile, and archive test results (microbiological, etc.). Ensure adherence to HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards (22000 or 9001), including traceability. Conduct internal inspections/audits for each facility annually, as well as recall exercises. Quality System Monitoring & Improvement Identify deviations and non‑conformities, document issues, and track corrective actions via the complaint management system. Assist in developing, updating, and distributing quality procedures. Recommend improvements to optimize internal processes. Qualifications Technical diploma in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Biochemistry, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in the food industry, ideally with dry product blends in a co‑packing environment. Strong knowledge of Canadian food regulations, product labeling, and food safety. Proficient with metrology tools, office software, and quality management systems (an asset). In‑depth knowledge of HACCP standards (GMP, ISO 22000 are assets). Detail‑oriented, autonomous, analytical, with strong interpersonal communication skills. Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written (an asset). Flexible to work day or evening shifts.
