Your Work Environment You’ll have the choice of joining our Fredericton, Halifax, Moncton, or Saint John office, with a flexible hybrid work model. Our offices are designed to be bright, vibrant, and collaborative. Regardless of location, you will collaborate with EXP’s multidisciplinary team on Atlantic Canada’s largest transportation infrastructure projects, with opportunities to contribute to projects outside Atlantic Canada if desired. Your Role & Responsibilities Coordinate the planning, design, and construction management of a wide range of urban and rural transportation projects including new roadway alignments, interchanges, roundabouts, signalized/unsignalized intersections, and multi-use trails. Prepare construction specifications, drawings, and tender documents. Manage project budgets and schedules. Identify efficient project execution methods and associated resourcing needs. Engage with a variety of stakeholders including owners, contractors, sub-consultants, operations staff, utilities, businesses, and the public. Coach, mentor, and develop junior staff. Foster a safe and inclusive working culture. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. 8+ years of relevant technical experience in the planning, design, and construction of urban and rural transportation projects including new roadway alignments, interchanges, roundabouts, signalized/unsignalized intersections, and multi-use trails. In-depth knowledge of applicable standards, guidelines, and best practices. Established network of professional contacts within the transportation industry. Professional designation (or eligibility) in NB and/or NS Strong project management skills. Ability to problem solve by combining sound professional judgement, creativity, and innovation.
