Investment Specialist – 12‑Month Contract Join as an Investment Specialist for Canada Life. This is a temporary full‑time, 12‑month contract position located in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Responsibilities Full scrubbing of received applications, ensuring SLAs are met. Communicate with advisors to obtain missing information and/or signatures required on investment applications. Enter applications into the WealthServ system. Ensure adherence to processes to mitigate required LOIs. Email wire order confirmation for application submission. Complete transactions and trades on the WealthServ system. Transfer follow‑ups – ongoing updates to ensure current data is captured in WealthServ. Retrieve and respond to incoming email inquiries and requests. Work extensively with back‑office systems, WealthServ, and insurance carrier websites. Exercise discretion in determining when and how work is completed. Deliver results that directly contribute to the performance of the team. Provide assistance to other employees with information when requested (no direct supervision). Qualifications Specialized knowledge of investment products. Minimum 1 year experience in the insurance and financial services industry. Proven experience using Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of WealthServ is an asset. Completion of post‑secondary school or equivalent. Base salary : $42,500 – $67,000 annually (base only, excluding bonus/commission). Total compensation will be discussed with selected candidates.
