This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead drainage and grading design efforts across complex rail corridor projects. Collaborate with WSP’s hydraulics and hydrology specialists for larger and complex stormwater modeling (e.g., HEC-RAS). Support track and linear alignment teams with grading and utility design. Coordinate with structural engineers on grading that is integrated with walls, bridges, and transit facilities. Manage utility engineering related to protection and relocation of utilities within rail corridors. Ensure compliance with municipal and provincial standards across jurisdictions. Mentor team members, particularly Track & Civil Designers. What you’ll bring to WSP:Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation with a minimum of 8 years of experience. Willingness to obtain licensure in Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia. Experience in rail or highway engineering projects would be preferable. Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. CompensationSalary range (in British Columbia): $82,900 - $114,000The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
